Education Program

Currently, the organization has been working on the After School Learning Centre and hosting & organizing Online Menstrual Hygiene awareness among the government school teachers in eight states of India with eVidyaloka.

After School Learning Centre- The organization has been working on After school learning centres specifically with “Slow Learners” in government schools. The organization has 21 learning centres in government schools. In order, to bring more ownership among the community to this initiative and to bring awareness on right to education among the parents. The organization has introduced a Re 1. Model of learning centre, where each student must contribute
Re. 1 per day in the centre. The learning centres has Education Facilitators that engage with the learners focusing on STEAM learning process, with fun activity. The organization has been actively involved among the
community through learning centres. The program has been focusing on major issues such as engaging with slow learners in the classrooms, promote the ecosystem of education, distress migration, school dropouts, etc. The major challenges that the team has identified is lack of awareness among the community on education, limited capacity building of education facilitators, lack of awareness on STEAM learning processes among the community, etc. Such factors have been hindering the smooth functioning of the learning centre program

eVidyaloka Trust- This includes online awareness on menstrual hygiene in eight states of India among the government school teachers. The organization hosts and moderates the sessions online. The awareness takes place in eight different languages.

Learning cum Computer Centre-As part of the AsHA initiative, a Library cum Computer Center has been established in Kachukata village to provide vital educational and technological resources to the local community. This center aims to bridge the digital divide and foster lifelong learning, particularly among young learners. Currently, the center directly benefits over 100 students aged 5 to 18, offering them a safe, engaging space to read, learn, and explore technology. It also welcomes community members of all ages, helping them build essential digital and literacy skills.

Awareness on Right to Education- AsHA provides an awareness program on the Right to Education, focusing on ensuring that every child has equal access to learning opportunities. The program includes interactive discussions with parents, the community, and students.

Strengthening OnSchool Management Committee (SMC) On Their Roles And Responsibility- We conduct training for SMC members three times a year, focusing on committee formation, fund utilization, and their key responsibilities. Special emphasis is given to managing and monitoring the Mid-Day Meal program. So far, we have trained 1,500 SMC members, who now actively take responsibility for organizing school-level education rallies.

Children Mela – AsHA organized the Annual Children’s Mela with 4,000 students. The objective of the mela was to provide a fun, educational, and engaging environment for children, promoting learning through play, cultural activities, and awareness programs. Children had the opportunity to open up their minds, give presentations, and participate in various games, sports, cultural, and literacy programs. The mela also provided a platform for students to showcase their talents in dancing, singing, drama, and speech.Students from all learning centers were invited to participate and enjoy the event. AsHA also invited distinguished guests who encouraged the children to learn well and become future leaders.
